Personality
Likes: The Band, Friends, Girls, Drums, Piano, Chocolate, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Harrison Ford, His house, Ghost stories, Video Games.
Dislikes: Bacon, Sundays, Broken Drumsticks, Uniforms, Pepper, Broccoli, Teasing, Waking up early, Snobs.
Goals: His friend's band to make it famous. Finally asking out a certain girl before Senior Year...
Personality: Erik is friendly, kind and always willing to have fun. He can have a sweet disposition at times, which makes it easier for his closer friends to tease him. It may annoy him most of the time, but he doesn't let teases get to him personally so much.

He isn't shy, but Erik can be so calm at times that it can be mistaken for shyness. He can get worked up and hyper when wants to be, and is usually in the mood for some misadventure with his friends. But all extra fun always has to wait until after band practice. Erik is the most dedicated to his and his friend's music, and is always encouraging them to keep going. He is the funder for their equipment and he doesn't take it as a burden at all since he loves playing with his friends so much.

Erik is extremely loyal to his friends. No matter what is going on, he'd never back out on his two best friends especially, but it also applies to other close friends too. Even for his parents, who he occasionally rebells against, he will defend them if anyone says anything against them. He sticks to his group, and his family.

But despite his loyalty to his family, Erik hates the idea of being perceived as a rich snob. That's why he's covered it up so much through school. Erik would rather that people liked him for himself, and not his money. He doesn't even care that he's not popular, because Erik thinks if he had been completely open about it in the beginning, and he did become popular, that would be the only reason. And if he hadn't pretended he was average income like everyone else, Erik would never have met his own two best friends. The only thing Erik probably likes about being rich, is living in the old house that was in his father's family. It's big, it's creepy, probably haunted, and oddly bright. He loves it there.

Despite growing up in strict home, where Erik was always expected to be proper and follow protocol, he is usually carefree. He is usually at his best when he is among his friends, and doesn't have to pretend he's something he's not. He hides how wealthy he is, but he doesn't think that defines him as a person, so Erik doesn't feel guilty of keeping it hidden.

He is the more romantic among his group of friends. He isn't quite a player, but he doesn't try to hide his kindness. Erik finds most girls pretty, and he'll flirt occasionally. But when it comes to a girl he actually likes, he will get more nervous, but will be determined to work up to asking them out... it just takes a long time.

Erik is surprisingly religious, but he's stopped attending church on a regular basis with his parents. After being forced to learn his lessons in his early school career, and with his experience of attending church, Erik decided on worshiping on his own terms.
History
Family: Parents: Nicholas (51, Investor) & Audrey (40, Socialite) d'Herblay.
Personal History: Nicholas had married more so out of convenience than for affection. It wasn't an arranged marriage, but the two had been family friends, both families that were well off with from French Settler Ancestry in Louisiana and wanted to stay within their own classes. Nicholas was eleven years older than Audrey, but that didn't seem to bother the aspiring young woman. She'd gone to University, had her education, and now she was ready to live a life where she could take it easy and have everything taken care of for her.

It was a year after they were married, that Éric was born. He was doted on and cared for his entire life, and was never deprived anything he'd asked for, especially when his parents never had another child. From an early age, Erik expressed his love for music, specifically for percussion instruments, mostly the drums and the piano. But the more his parents tried to encourage Erik more to the piano than the drums, then more interest he took in the drums.

Éric was never spoiled, but he was used to getting what he wanted, and he knew exactly how to work his parents into giving him what he wanted. After a the first few years of being stuck in a French Catholic Private School, Éric expressed his distaste for the place, and wanted out. He'd decided he didn't like being around other rich kids, and the strict religious education wasn't to his liking either if it had to be forced on him. So after several weeks of begging, Éric was transferred into Apple Creek Elementary, which had a good enough reputation so his parents weren't that worried.

Now he was free from the stifling social expectation, and Éric was no free to be himself. He'd never acknowledged that he is parents were wealthy, and he just had to deal with the new kid stigma naturally. And he'd started writing his name as Erik, instead of keeping up with his parents traditional French backgrounds. Erik was never very popular, but he did make two close friends that he knew he'd have for life. They were almost always together, and were probably the best additions to Erik's life. They didn't care he was rich, they just liked him for who he was.

It was in Junior High when the three them started band. It hadn't been Erik's idea, but the three of them all expressed the same interest in music, and wanted to do something apart of school band. Erik had funded their group, and they got all the equipment they needed. He became the most enthusiastic about it, and encouraged his other two friends to keep the band going. It was in High School that their band started to get really good. And despite his distaste for Marching Band, Erik's parents gave him an ultimatum: that if he wanted to continue with music, that he had to take the music classes in school, take part in school Band if he wanted to keep his punk band as well.
Appearance
PB: Gaspard Ulliel.
Appearance: At 5'10'' Erik isn't that tall, but he's not short either. He has a smaller frame, and thin features, which Erik can get teased about at times, for looking a bit effeminate. But even if he appears small, he's not a weakling.

Erik keep his hair longer, but it's more fluffy than shaggy but sometimes he'll spike it out. It's a dark brown colour, that goes well with his paler skin tone. His eyes are dark blue, but look even darker compared to his pale skin, and darker hair.

His complexion is clear and slightly pale, but Erik prefers it that way over the slight tan he can get in the summer. He had quite obvious simples on his cheeks when smiles, which he gets annoyed about if people tease him. Erik also doesn't like his nose, since he thinks it's too big.

Despite being wealthy, Erik doesn't dress to show that. Occasionally he'll let his mother convince him to wear some designer clothes, but he usually just keeps to casual, and blends in with his friends.
